Embera and Feral Creative
Brand + Website Proposal

Prepared for Embera

A brand that speaks to both worlds

Look and feel development for Embera's corporate and participant audiences, followed by the design and build of a new 10-page website.

Section 01

Look + Feel Development

Using the existing Embera logo and guidelines supplied by Garth, I will develop one cohesive visual language with two carefully tuned expressions. This lets Embera feel credible and assured in the boardroom, while remaining approachable, organic and engaging in participant and learning spaces.

The two expressions are not separate brands. The extended look grows naturally from the main identity, giving each audience the right tone while keeping Embera recognisable and consistent everywhere.

This stage turns the existing guidelines into a practical, flexible visual system rather than a collection of one-off designs. It establishes clear creative rules that make future materials faster to produce, easier to approve and more consistent across every audience touchpoint.

Main brand look + feel

A polished, confident system for corporate audiences — including funders and stakeholders — led by Embera's primary colour palette and fonts.

Extended brand look + feel

A warmer, more human expression for participants and learning content, using Embera's tertiary colours, supporting fonts and more organic visual elements.

Practical visual toolkit

A clear direction for colour, typography, imagery, graphic elements and page styling across presentations, stakeholder content and participant materials.

Reusable starting templates

Designed to make future content faster

Alongside the visual language, I will supply a small set of adaptable starting templates for recurring brand applications. These are foundations from which new templates and content can be created and replicated — not a final, exhaustive template library.

Reusable social media post layouts
Stakeholder and participant communication layouts

Look + Feel cost estimate

± R22 000

This covers every deliverable and starter template above, along with the guideline that ties it all together. Three rounds of revisions are included; any additional revisions will be charged at my hourly rate.

Section 02

Website Design + Build

The Embera website will be designed and vibe-coded in Lovable. What that means for you — the advantages, the considerations, and how it compares with traditional development — is set out below the cost estimate.

Basis of this quote

The old Go Group website is the reference for the new site's structure, flow, functionality and page count. The Embera website is scoped as 10 pages: Home, The Process, seven programme pages and a dedicated Contact page.

What's included

Website visual direction

The approved Embera look and feel translated into a cohesive digital design system.

10 Pages build

One image per page is included — ten images across the site. Any further imagery must be supplied by Embera. Programme discovery, Get Involved and contact content rebuilt around the new brand.

The Process page

Embera's methodology presented as a clear and engaging visual journey.

Seven programme pages

Each programme presented within the structure established by the current Go Group site.

Contact page + intake

A dedicated contact page with an enquiry form and the existing WhatsApp intake pathway.

Mobile, search + site launch

Responsive layouts, essential search settings, testing and launch support.

Website cost estimate

R18 000

One-off fee for the Lovable build, covering the Website Design + Build deliverables above. This includes three rounds of revisions; any additional revisions will be charged at my hourly rate. Lovable monthly cost, credit usage, hosting and domain registration is not included.

Build approach

Vibe-coded with Lovable

The estimate above is for this Lovable build. I will design and vibe-code the website in Lovable. Embera may create its own Lovable account so the project can be transferred into its ownership. Once live, Embera can make straightforward updates itself, or I can turn around requested content and design edits quickly.

Advantages

  • Faster design and build cycles, helping keep the project efficient
  • The working site can be refined visually while it is being built
  • Basic future updates can be made quickly in Lovable without a designer
  • Embera can create its own account and take ownership of the project

Considerations

  • Highly bespoke functionality may need custom development outside Lovable
  • The site remains tied to Lovable's platform, pricing and usage limits
  • Advanced edits may still need designer support to maintain good design and functionality

Alternative: direct website development

A traditional hand-coded build is not something I can offer — my process is design plus vibe-coding in Lovable, which is what keeps this timeline and cost possible. The comparison below is here so you can see what that route normally involves.

If you choose this direction

The Look + Feel developed in Section 01 would be handed to your website designer, and I would work alongside them to translate it into the live site — guiding the colour, typography, imagery and page styling so the finished website carries the same brand. How long that collaboration takes depends on how the designer works and how the build is put together, so it can't be priced in advance. It would be quoted separately, at the time, once you confirm you are going this route.

Advantages

  • Maximum control over the codebase, hosting setup and custom functionality
  • Custom integrations and richer interactive experiences can be built without platform constraints
  • Logins, databases and more complex functionality can be developed around specific requirements

Considerations

  • Usually takes longer and costs more to design, develop and test
  • Even small future changes may require a developer
  • More technical maintenance and hosting decisions are required from the outset

Please note

Content writing is not included. All page copy, headings, programme descriptions, images and videos must be supplied to Feral Creative, written and approved before the website build begins. The Look + Feel must also be approved before website design and development can start. Website hosting, Lovable subscription costs and domain registration are also excluded and must be arranged separately in Embera's own accounts. The domain can then be connected to the completed Lovable website.

Optional extras, if required

  • PayFast donation / payment integration
  • News or impact stories section
  • Ongoing maintenance retainer

Let's make moves together!
